TENDER NOTICE
Name of work: Supply of vehicles on hire basis for AIR Agartala.
The Station Director, AIR Agartala, on behalf of the President of India, invites sealed item rate tender/quotation for supply of vehicles on hire basis for the service of All India Radio Agartala, only from bonafide registered owner with commercial permit offer holder from State Transport Authority for the following vehicles:
1. Ambassador(Petrol 2009 model),
2. Maruti Omni (2009 model)
3. Tata Sumo or Mahindra Max or Tata Victa 2009 model.
Tender/quotation form would be available during office hours from 21/07/09 tp 27/07/09 except holidays on payment of Rs.250/- only(non-refundable). Earnest money - Rs. 25,000/- only. Last date of receiving tender/quotation is 11 AM on 31st July 2009.

All India Radio, Agartala is the main station of the state of Tripura located in the heart of the city. The station was commissioned on 26.01.67 as an auxiliary station become full fledged on 19.04.74. with 20 kw (2×10kw) power of transmitter. This station has been broadcasting various types of programmes in three transmission daily. The programs are mainly in Bengali and Kokborok (Tripuri) dialect. Of course Hindi, English and other tribal dialects are also broadcast from this station.

For the last 4 decades, from the time when watching TV was considered as a luxury, AKASHVANI AGARTALA has been providing us all sorts of entertainment, news, weather forecast and other public utility programmes with the motto of “Bahujan hitaya- Bahujan sukhaya”.
